KELLY CLARKSON: zu jung für Greatest-Hits-Album

LOS ANGELES (urlbase.de) - Greatest-Hits-Alben sollte ein Künstler erst dann veröffentlichen, wenn er auf eine langjährige Karriere zurückblicken kann. Das zumindest findet Kelly Clarkson. Für Stars wie Hilary Duff und Mandy Moore hat sie demnach gar kein Verständnis. Die beiden Sängerinnen haben bereits ihre besten Hits auf eine Platte gepackt. Clarkson selbst kann sich das noch lange nicht vorstellen, wie sie laut Medienberichten verriet: "Ein Greatest Hits-Album zu machen wäre verrückt. Ich bin nicht 50. Künstler, die eins nach drei Alben machen, denken, dass ihre Karriere sich dem Ende nähert."

Übrigens: Kelly Clarkson legt überhaupt keinen Wert auf Stylingtipps. Die Sängerin erklärte, sie trage tagtäglich immer nur das, was sie sich auch selbst ausgesucht habe.

November Already.....Wow How Time Flies!!

Hey everyone....

Happy Fall! Sorry I haven't written in a while. I actually took a little vacation and got some much needed r&r after the tour. I even left the laptop at home if you can believe it.

While I was away I was thinking about things I love....and what I wouldn't be able to live without. One of my friends and I got on the subject of food and she asked me if I had to pick only 5 things to eat or drink for an entire year what would they be....I thought for a second and then realized I could be happy for an entire year with only 3 things...

Sashimi, Almonds and Green Tea would be all I need. Japanese food is by far my favorite. I could definitely eat it every day.

What would be on your list?

So, I hope you guys check out Southland Tales -- it opens in theatres next week. I included a little preview below in case you haven't seen it yet. I play Madeline Frost-Santros -- Dwayne's wife. The movie has such a great cast. Even Justin Timberlake is in it. The soundtrack has some really good songs on it too -- especially if you're a Moby fan!! I think it comes out today actually.

Which brings me to my next question....if you were put in charge of making the perfect movie soundtrack what 12 songs would choose?

Mit dem Händchenhalten fängt es meistens an - und wenn es danach geht, dann stehen bei Matthew Perry die Zeichen womöglich auf Liebe. Wie die US-Tageszeitung "New York Post" berichtet, wurden der ehemalige "Friends"-Schauspieler und Kollegin Mandy Moore in trauter Zweisamkeit bei einem Dinner in Beverly Hills gesichtet: "Er hatte schon Platz genommen und wartete 15 Minuten auf sie, bis sie ankam", so ein Insider. So weit, so unspektakulär. Doch wie der Beobachter weiter gesehen haben will, hielten sich sie beiden über der Tischplatte bei den Händen, steckten die Köpfe zusammen, ganz eng, und lachten die ganze Zeit. Ob es wirklich ernst ist? Die Sprecher der beiden waren nicht zu erreichen. Aber "Mandy und Matthew", klingt zumindest schon mal nach einer hübschen neuen Hollywood-Paarung.

New Movie & Light Bulbs For Burma

Hey guys,

Tours over and I'm back in LA now....getting some rest, catching up with friends. Thanks so much to all of you that came to my shows. What'd ya think? I had a blast on tour. Can't wait to do it again!!

hmmmm...what else is going on...

oh.....Nov. 9, you must all go see Southland Tales espeically if you were a fan of Donnie Darko. I make a little cameo appearance in it. You might not recognize me -- my hair is super blonde!!!!

Other than that...I have a big favor to ask of you guys...it'll actually be kinda fun...lets see how creative you can get....take a picture of yourself and your friends with a light bulb and post it HERE. I'll be taking one this weekend too!
