New Movie & Light Bulbs For Burma

Hey guys,

Tours over and I'm back in LA now....getting some rest, catching up with friends. Thanks so much to all of you that came to my shows. What'd ya think? I had a blast on tour. Can't wait to do it again!!

hmmmm...what else is going on...

oh.....Nov. 9, you must all go see Southland Tales..espeically if you were a fan of Donnie Darko. I make a little cameo appearance in it. You might not recognize me -- my hair is super blonde!!!!

Other than that...I have a big favor to ask of you guys...it'll actually be kinda fun...lets see how creative you can get....take a picture of yourself and your friends with a light bulb and post it here http://www.buzznet.com/groups/lightbulbsforburma/. I'll be taking one this weekend too!

Hey,

Sorry its been a bit of a lag since my last letter. The road has gotten to me...in a good way. Obsessed! Starting to feel a little - well, a LOT - of sadness as this tour is quickly coming to a close. This has been THE greatest time of my life and that is no exaggeration. The band, the fans - old and new - have just made me feel like I have never felt before. Performing is a whole new thing that I never thought it could be - especially performing my own material. Not to mention with the likes of Rachael Yamagata, Ben Lee and Chris Still by my side.

We are on our way to Kansas City today and from there all we have left is Salt Lake City, Vegas and Tuscon. Hmmm... wonder what we're gonna do the night after when we get homebound....

The international "thing" will start up this Fall with a trip to Australia and another to Asia in late November/early December. Really hoping to tour in those territories as well as Europe in early 2008. There are a few film opportunities coming up and its tough to think about not keeping up the momentum of this music thing. It's so great to be back in the thick of it. But as I have said, I feel so lucky to have both of these things in my life to balance it all out at the end of the day.
